Four Greens Community Trust, in partnership with Whitleigh Big Local, St Chads Church and the Salvation Army, are providing an emergency response service to our community that has supported over 160 families and individuals in the Honicknowle, Whitleigh, Ernesettle and Manadon communities.

This community response includes a prescription and food pick up service, help with the cost of energy for over 65's and for those most in need of the delivery of food parcels.

Referrals are being made to us from a variety of organisations including churches, Plymouth City Council, The Salvation Army, Barnardos, Livewell and local organisations such as Whitleigh Big Local, the Phoenix Centre and Plymouth Community Homes.

The Covid-19 pandemic and cost of energy and food prices have highlighted the level of food poverty within our community and as a result of this Four Greens Community Trust and its partners have agreed that this is a service that we need to continue as the need is great and is only going to increase.

In order for us to continue the vital service long term, we are asking anyone who can to support us with this service. If you can make a donation or volunteer your time to help with deliveries we would be very grateful.

Contact us if you can provide support.
