The city-wide responsibilities role of Mental Health and Disability Community Builder works are promoting mental health and disability awareness and support, supporting partnership working, raising awareness and mapping community assets to encourage cohesion and collaboration of service providers - enabling easier information retrieval, successful signposting and faster referrals.​

Mental Health and Disability Lead
Tracy Stimpson

Tracy’s background in SEND education, advocating for better workplace mental health and wellbeing and voluntary and community work, has shaped her journey and brought her to her present role. Her city-wide responsibilities assist partnership working, supporting organisations and services of all sizes and having mapped the mental health and disability assets across the city, information retrieval will hopefully be easier for all. Tracy is one of the founders of the Plymouth Mental Health Collective, supported by the Devon Mental Health Alliance and a branch manager on the Trauma Informed Plymouth Network. She assists St Luke’s with their Compassionate Friends and Schools programmes and is helping to develop the Plymouth Area Disability Action Network. Tracy is a passionate advocate for mental and physical health, wellbeing, inclusivity, amplifying voices, building connections, encouraging collaboration and supporting meaningful change.
