Barnardo's Family Hub Services

We are delighted that Barnardo's are one of our major tenants and partners. This enables family services and activities to be run from our Whitleigh Hub, these include:

• Midwife sessions for expectant mothers

• Great Expectations courses to support new parents 

• Parenting courses to increase both knowledge and practical skills that will enable new parents to feel more confident 

• Stay and Play session to support parents and children with special needs

• Latch On is a support sessions for mothers who are currently breastfeeding

Barnardo's also offer specialist family services to support vulnerable parents within the community, and this can involve home visits and working with parents to access other services within their community.

During the school holidays Barnardo's and Four Greens run Holiday Programmes which take place at Honicknowle Youth Centre and Whitleigh Hub.

Whitleigh Wolves

Four Greens Community Trust was delighted to support the development of a junior football team made up of local young people that compete in the local Adrenalin Devon Junior and Minor league. This club is completely run by volunteers and currently the team plays in the under 12 division. It is hoped that this club will expand in the future to include all age ranges and a girls team.
