Volunteering
Volunteers are very important at Four Greens Wellbeing Hub. The dedication and time that is given by our regular volunteers allow the Hub services to stretch further than it would otherwise stretch. When you sign up as a volunteer, you will be given a volunteer pack and full training. Upon satisfactory performance, you will also receive a green Four Greens polo shirt for you to wear with pride while at work.
We have various volunteering roles such as:

-
Helping to pack food parcels
 -
Delivery of food parcels
 -
Helping organise the food stores
 -
Customer interaction
 -
Getting involved in the running of groups and clubs
 -
Running fundraising events
 -
Help to keep the Hub clean and tidy and more...

Anyone is welcome to volunteer, regardless of age, race, disability, religion or sexuality.
We really look forward to hearing from you as YOU can make a BIG difference.
Volunteer Roles
Driving
If you are confident in driving, we have multiple jobs that need your abilities. In this role, you'll be responsible for things like van driving, delivering services (such as food parcels) and community drop offs.
Odd Jobs
If you consider yourself handy with DIY, our Odd Jobs team could be a perfect fit for you. The Odd Job Team is responsible for completing simple DIY tasks within Four Greens and for people in the community.
Reception Duties
We need friendly, confident and welcoming volunteers working our reception desk. Working on our reception means helping customers, answering telephones, and responding to any queries from the community.
Befriending Service
Want to help and connect with members of the community? We are looking for volunteers to have in person chats and/or telephone conversations with our socially isolated or housebound clients.
We are always looking and hoping to find passionate and enthusiastic people who are willing to give their time to support Four Greens and the local community. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our work here at Four Greens to enable us to follow our motto of “helping people changing lives”. Volunteering with us can help you to find friends, connect with the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career. Giving to others can also help to protect your mental and physical health.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please give us a call on 01752 875916 or email volunteer@fgct.co.uk or contact us through this website.
