Chloe has joined our growing team as our Community Development Worker, in September 2021.
Working at the heart of our community, Chloe will create and develop initiatives to support the local community, improve the health and wellbeing of local residents. She will also help to create volunteering and employment training opportunities within North Plymouth.
I am looking forward to building relationships with the local residents and providing them with a range of opportunities, whilst supporting their health and wellbeing. I am keen to develop projects and initiatives to bring the community together and create a positive difference.
Some of Chloe's main priorities to focus on will include:
Mapping community activity and support services in Whitleigh
Setting up a hub network which aims to bring together the community utilising activity and support services
Working closely with the Wolseley Trust Social Prescribing Service as well as local GP's to support and advise on accessing appropriate services
Engage with other community organisations such as, Improving Lives Plymouth, Argyle Community Trust, Whitleigh Big Local as well as others to develop and create services and activities
We are delighted to welcome Chloe to our expanding team and wish her every success in her new role.
