Children's Christmas Present Appeal

Every year the Salvation Army in Plymouth supports agencies who work with families who struggle to buy gifts for their children at Christmas.

The Salvation Army in Whitleigh and Devonport Morice Town are working together this year to support as many families as possible. Due to the consequences of COVID-19 we anticipate that the need will be greater than ever this year so we would really value your support.

Four Greens Community Trust is delighted to support Salvation Army by having a drop of donation box in their reception area. We are working with some of our partners including Barnardo's and Argyle Community Trust to promote and support this.

Tom from Salvation Army said:

We wouldn't want any child or family to with without Christmas this year and we really saw the positive impact this has on people within out community last year.

These are some of the ways you can support:

  • AMAZON WISH LIST: This link will bring you to wish lists for different ages and all you need to do is choose your toy/toys and they get sent straight to us!

  • DROP OFF DONATIONS: Donations can be dropped off at The Salvation Army in Whitleigh (Lancaster Gardens, Plymouth, PL5 4AA) by pre arranged appointment (call 07436 424945 to arrange), or a donation box is located in the reception area of Four Greens Community Trust (15 Whitleigh Green, Plymouth PL5 4DD) which is open Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm.

  • JUSTGIVING: If you would like to donate money to the appeal then you can do this through our JustGiving page. We will use the money to buy toys on your behalf.

We'd love you to share this with friends, family and colleagues too! We really appreciate your generosity and we want you to know that your gifts will make a difference to the Christmas of many children in our city!
